The Internet Roadshow

What is the Texas Internet Roadshow?  It's the very beginning of a statewide rural economic development project.  The presentations are designed just for rural Texas.  The focus is on how to put the higher-speed Internet access that is available today to work for your family, your business and your hometown.

We will answer such questions as:

  • Which Internet access technologies are available locally, at what speeds and prices?
  • How do these technologies compare in addressing Internet or e-commerce needs?
  • Who is using the Internet and e-commerce in rural Texas today and how?
  • What can the Internet and e-commerce do for my farm, ranch, or other business?
  • Which vendors provide Internet access and e-commerce help locally?
  • How do these services help me promote my area's economic development?
  • Who funds school, library, telemedicine, and community technology networks?

Who is presenting the "Internet Roadshow"?
The TeleCommunity Resource Center (TCRC), an independent non-profit organization.
